Willow Weekly T2W6
AHHHHHHHH. Happy sunny Monday, Willow Families!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We have a very busy week this week! Here are the highlights:
IRP
There is no IRP check-in this week, due to there being no school on Friday. The next check in will be next Friday, 2/24/17. There will be an IRP enrichment this Wednesday, to be hosted in the Willow Room. Let me know if your child plans to attend.
Field Trip
Our permission slip for the Underground Railroad Living Museum went home via email and hard copy today. Sorry for the late arrival! Please try to have this back to me as soon as possible. Also, you'll notice that the spot for volunteering to chaperone is on the back of the sheet.
Bring Your Parent to Work Day
Wow, those slots are filling up fast! I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday morning. I'll be printing the final list tomorrow, but if you need to squeeze in last-minute just give me the heads-up.
Ok2Say Assembly
Tomorrow we will have our bullying assembly. The fourth and fifth years will meet at 9 a.m. and the sixth years will meet at 9:45.
Endanged Species Vote
Tomorrow students will participate in a vote for which endangered/threatened native species our school will support through the "For the Love of Michigan" fundraiser. The candidates are the Eastern prarie fringed orchid, the Indiana bat, the Karner blue butterfly, and the Northern long eared bat.
My schedule
Just to let you know ahead of time, I will be away from school for training tomorrow and the 22nd of this month. I will try to let you know future dates as they are scheduled.
Have a great remainder of your week!
Peace,
Kiersten
