Willow Weekly #8

Welcome to another exciting week in the Willow Room! We had a very busy week last week, what with trying to get the most bang for our buck with what was essentially a 3-day school week. Here are some reminders/announcements for you for the upcoming week!

1) Biography book reports are due Monday! We have set aside the entire morning for presentations. If you have any questions regarding requirements, please feel free to ask!

2) Our Thursday was just too jam-packed this week to fit in spelling tests or checking in geography outlines! Spelling tests will therefore be given on Monday afternoon, which gives kiddos slightly less time to prepare for Friday. If they feel nervous about it, we can remind them that there's a lot of study hall time between Monday afternoon and tests on Friday!

3) Geography outlines should be completed up to paragraph 5 and conclusion by this Friday. We will have an hour of dedicated time on Monday, and take some time on Friday afternoon to check in what the kids have completed. Remember, there is a copy of the outline form and the due dates page on the Academics page of the website!

4) Cosmic Education Night is this Thursday, November 3rd. Swing by to see some of our Montessori lessons in action!

5) New classroom jobs start this Tuesday! The kids put a lot of thought into their job applications this time around, and we'll take the time to debrief on new roles and expectations in the afternoon on Tuesday.
